On 23 and 24 May 2018, Mr. Wang Tianyi, CEO of China Everbright International, together with the President of the Management Board of NOVAGO, Mr. Kenneth Huang, attended World Waste to Energy and Resources Summit in London, one of the most important global events in the advanced waste to energy industry.
At the summit, Mr. Wang Tianyi delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Role of Waste to Energy in Today's International Markets". During the speech Mr. Wang elaborated China's environmental protection policy trends and market development. Mr. Wang highlighted how the applications of grate furnace technologies and the Public-Private Partnership model have led the transformation and rapid growth of China's solid waste management industry and talked about how China Everbright International established a development model by leveraging its philosophy of pursuing sustainable development, outstanding business practices and technological innovation.
Established in 2012 and held annually in London, World Waste to Energy and Resources Summit is a highly-influential, top-level communication platform within the industry. The summit gathered environmental protection department officials, top management of large global ecological and environmental management enterprises, financial institutions, professional service agencies, and technical specialists from 40 countries and regions across the globe.
